Schemes Habitat for Hope
Hope makes people live. Giving hope is giving life.
People lose hope because of social inequalities,ill-health and lack of opportunities. School as a social organization has a responsibility to its society. For a school group that houses expatriates of more than 33 nationalities in three schools, this community responsibility of giving hope extends to all these countries. In order to address this responsibility, the group launched a project as an essential component of its schooling model: Habitat For Hope.
A journey into understanding lives that are different and sharing what can be shared. The project provides educational facilitation, medical support, food supplies and tree plantation annually for One Million Indian Rupees in various parts. The first edition was held in Kerala due to reasons of easy facilitation and trusted partners. In the first edition, the amount was distributed between taking care of medical expenses and higher education of socially deprived children in a selected, socially backward area, giving meals to 50 needy people in hospital and on the street, giving educational equipments to special children and planting trees in the area. The idea is to replicate it in various other regions in the coming years
